Pre-Concert Meal Ticket info

Anyone wishing to eat dinner with the band prior to the Holiday concert has
 magical ways
to sign up for Pre-Concert tickets.

Pay at the door!!
@ Check-in you will be able to reserve a seat for the concert!

Ticket Prices are as follows
$5 Student
The $7 meal includes a reserved seat of
your choice at the concert.
Menu:
Baked Ziti (Marinara) or Pasta Alfredo
Salad & Drink

Meal will be served from 5 PM to 6:20 PM
on
Tuesday, December 15.

Parent volunteers will stop serving dinner at 6:20 so that they can clean up and attend the performance.

Parades in Ontario Saturday December 5th, 2015


Dress in layers+Scarves, plain R/W Santa hat

Petrolia Parade
Petrolia parade participants need to be at
Northern and ready to leave at
12:15 PM.
The town of Petrolia will be serving the band dinner after *their* parade,
and then the Petrolia band will meet the rest of the band in Sarnia!

Sarnia Parade
4:30 PM Eat before you arrive-get on buses in full uniform.
Dress in layers+Scarves, plain R/W santa hats
6:00 PM Parade
8:30 PM Back at PHN
Student MUST have a birth certificate, nexxus card, enhanced ID or a passport
on their person AT ALL TIMES.
We are given explicit instructions not to collect these from the student!

5:00 PM Meet behind NEW SEMCO down by YMCA
6:00 PM Parade

7:00 PM Pickup at McMorran North Lot Full uniform. You may wear a Red and white Santa hat. You may wear black headband or earmuffs Dress in layers (yes, it might rain) Tuck any under-layers into your socks Get hand-warmers. You may not wear gloves that interfere with playing You may decorate your instruments and yourselves with lights and garland.

Pit Parents:
It takes between 6-10 people to set-up the sidelines at football games.  A few have done every single show, (not naming names).  We would like to invite some fresh faces for this Friday, so those that those parents can watch at least one game from the stands. Go to this link to lend a hand!

and last...Amy Bryce (PHN Bands official photographer) intends to take section pictures after Thursday's practice. Have your section coordinate alike as they did last year for the pic!!



Last: DoP or otherwise known as Day of Percussion!
This is a great event that is allows our drumline to interact with the phenomenal talent of the MSU Drumline and several other high schools in Michigan.  Go here for event details.

For our Drumline, student cost is $10 to cover lunch and fuel, and bring money for McDonalds dinner following the event.   This is a very full day and all students report having a blast!! Mark your calendar for October 25th.  Travel permit forthcoming, watch phnband.org

Game is still ON unless you hear otherwise!!!!

If it is still raining at drop-off time go to the FRONT DOORS of PHHS (doors facing Jimmy's Frozen Custard).  We will wait out the rain at PHHS.

We still perform, even in the rain (as long as there is not any lightning).

Rain is expected to subside within an 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
Come prepared.
Bring extra socks if needed.  Bring a trash bag to wear over your shirt or rain proof jacket.

Football game last minute needs.



We are still in need of helping hands for the football game.
The job which seems to be left open at this point is:
Food Coordination.
Its not a difficult job, just show up at the north gate to of the field and collect a volunteer lanyard.
Gina Hiller will give you instructions.
Basically help move food and water into the stands and help with clean-up after the game.

Panera Fundraiser


Fundraiser for Port Huron Northern Bands on Wednesday August 19th between 4PM-8PM at Panera Bread in Fort Gratiot.
Please come out and help support them.
We will need at least 20 flyers to guarantee a donation.

A printed flyer or an electronic version of the flyer on a mobile phone or tablet must be presented when ordering.

The donation given will be based on the amount of sales associated with the flyers.
20-30 Flyers: 10% of net sales from redeemed flyers

31-49 flyers: 15% of net sales from redeemed flyers
50+ Flyers: 20% of net sales from redeemed flyers


Please share this with family and friends and lets try to get more than 50 flyers turned in.
