Email 1-24-15 Need your help...parents and students!!

As you probably know we are gearing up for our annual Scrapbooking event on Satruday February 7th.  This is a MAJOR event for the band, for a one day event it is one of our biggest fundraisers.

To date we are rocking the food donations, however from the standpoint of volunteers for both student and parent we are getting concerned with the event only 2 weeks away.  If you would please take a look at your schedule today and see if you can help out at the event.  We are not asking for you to work all day just one slot per person will do it.  We have such a large group to draw on, it should be really easy to knock this out!

Also, if you can do a raffle basket or hunt up a local donation of anything (gift card, movie tickets, etc.) you can enter that info as a RSVP on the link  If you have ANY question, please please call or text me, 810-841-0328.  No questions are too silly!

I'm going to be the cheerleader calling you towards the goal line...YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Email 1-19-15 Scrapbooking

For the PHN Bands Scrapbooking fundraiser event we raffle off baskets and single items that are donated.

The baskets are typically donated by parents and/or student groups.
In the past we have had some of the band sections organize a themed
basket and they were very popular!!

This is one aspect of the event that we really need to get organized very soon because we need to have an idea of how much space to allow for set-up and create signs for each basket/item.

If you are able to donate a raffle basket or

Please list the following:
  • Name
  • # of baskets you are donating
  • In the comment area: The theme of your basket or other donation
  • your email address and phone # on the last line in the comment area.

Auto Show fun!

  • Eat before you arrive
  •  wear blue jeans and band polos bring warm coat/hat in case we have to walk outside.
  • We get to view cars for awhile
  • Two performances, 3 and 7 PM
  • Bring about $10 for dinner-time meal 
  • 8:30 Back at PHN

Can't wait to see you ALL tomorrow at the Marching band banquet!

Reminder that we are asking students to bring the following with them to the banquet:
  • Freshmen and Sophmore families please bring a dessert to share;
  • Junior and Senior families please bring 2-2 liter bottles of soda to share.
Please keep in mind that 90% of you used the Charms RSVP option and we had fabulous response with 400+ people expected for dinner.  That also means that 90% of your will be picking up your tickets up an PAYING all at the same time...that should be fun!  Just kidding, it will be fun and a great way to celebrate our talented students!!

There will be 4 check-in locations to help the process go as fast as possible. Also remember that if you reserved tickets but for some reason are not able to attend the cost of the tickets will be added to your student account as we based our meal on the number of tickets reserved.

So please remember to bring money or check and your patience.
