Worse than panic

We are running two events today...we are all busy, we all have many commitments, please get up, get dressed & come help!
Don't sign-up, just show up.

As of this very moment I only have 7 people running the entire day at MSBOA States...we started one hour ago and 200 musicians just arrived.

We still need a few people at the drive but the critical issue is at the school, we really need adults, we love your kids but they have already done their job.  Please show your support today by helping at school or at Northgate Ford...hurry, run here now!!!

Drive 4 UR to be earned!

We need 300 people to arrive and drive a car... at Northgate Ford, this Saturday 9am - 4pm.

The band has the potential to receive up to $6000.00 if we can hit that number.

Students can earn $5.00 per referral added to their account.

Ready? Important links for this week/weekend

Yes I am asking a great deal...
We have a ton of work to do this weekend, fortunately this is a really big organization with a lot of people
that support it...meaning YOU!!!

  • Food to make, serve, sell, students to host
  • Cars to drive, cars to ride in, money to be made to build your students account & the program

Is it overwhelming?
Maybe for some, but it be well worth the
effort because it's for our kids!

This Saturday 9am - 4pm, Northgate Ford
This fundraiser is the easiest one we have ever done,
and we are so fortunate to have it!!
There are thousands of $$ to be made.

This is a one day event
It doesn't cost us a penny
We don't have to sell anything
It couldn't get any easier, best of all
$5 added to your student account for every driver you refer!

All it takes is about 30 minutes
  1. Drive to Northgate Ford
  2. Sign in with a band booster
  3. Drive a car with a booster parent
  4. 6 right turns
  5. Check-out
  6. Ford GIVES us $20.00
We would be crazy not to take every penny they have waiting for us.

MSBOA State Festival
@ PHN this week!

Hosting the MSBOA State Band Festival is a huge endeavor.  It requires many workers to provide a positive experience to the groups were are welcoming into our school.  I have listed basic job descriptions below for volunteers working this week/weekend.  You can also find this information on the charms site.  We are in need of food as well.

  • Seated at the main doors in front of the PHN cafeteria, the greeter hands out event schedules and school maps.
  • General info and directions.
Equipment drop off:
  • Located at the back hallway doors of the PAC.  Schools deliver all percussion and large instruments to this location.
  • You are not required to unload equipment but could assist by holding doors, answering questions, providing directions.
  • Attendant must prevent anyone from entering  PAC during performances.
  • Attendant stay are located at the double doors in the PAC hallway.
  • Students that are runners are the only person allowed to enter/exit the PAC during performances.  They are delivering/picking up documents from the adjudicators.

    Our bands are performing as follows so please consider this when selecting your work hours as we need all hands on deck at the scheduled times.

    Student performances:

    It’s that time of the year, time to forget the long hard winter, piles of snow and cold mornings (April snow??).

    Profit is 60 (student)/40 (Boosters) spilt 
    Since 2016/17 is a travel year, this is a great opportunity to build your students account.

    Dress up your porch and
    lawn with beautiful flowers and
    at the same time help PHB Bands earn
    money for music, instruments and more.
