1.) One of our jobs Band Booster Club is to fundraise for the band. We do not get money from any other source (other than intermittent private donations from families or community agencies).
2.) On a monthly or bi-monthly basis, fundraisers will be offered to students where a percentage of the profit will be deposited into their personal account to access for trips during the year. (Ex: Little Caesars, Butter Braids, Flowers). This means, if the student decides to attend a trip that costs $100 and they have fundraised $50-- that $50 may be placed toward the trip, making the final cost $50. Once logged into CHARMS parents and students will be able to see all activity on their accounts and find out their account balance.
3.) On a yearly basis, the band will participate in larger fundraisers in which the money obtained will be deposited into the bands general fund (Band O Grams, Scrapbook Fundraiser, VIP seating at concerts, Drives sponsored by local car dealerships etc.) The money raised for the band is spent on items such as all the music for concerts, uniforms, instruments, supplies etc, etc.
4.) Boosters are always looking for creative means to fundraise for the bands general fund as we are totally responsible for our own finances.
