We have pretty busy week ahead. Friday Home game with recognition of Senior students and parents. Senior parents plan to meet at the south entrance to the field, students will be lined up alphabetically. Seniors and their parents are invited to gather after pre-game for cider and doughnuts by our trailer at the north end of the stadium.
Half time performance will be followed up by 8th grade students joining our band on the field for a few songs. What a great way to welcome our future band members to the PHN marching band experience. We will also have a small section of the stands marked off for the 8th grade parents so they can be part of our band family fun! Following the half-time show they will be invited to enjoy cider and doughnuts also.
Because Band Night is a huge endeavor we will need many hands to make to get the job done. Please check out our list of needs both donation and time at this charms link. Not only do we need the usual water & fruit but also doughnuts and cider.
We will need 6 people to assist with organizing cider and doughnuts at the field. 3 people for Seniors and 3 for 8th graders. These people would setup the table with boxes of doughnuts and pre-pour the cider so when students come off the field they can grab a drink, treat and socialize for a few minutes.
Also for those that volunteer, please enter at the North end field gate. You will be given a lanyard to wear to identify our volunteers. Anyone dropping off donations should deliver items to the same gate and then enter with your ticket at the main entrance.
